In your Fiabli dashboard, go to Mailboxes → Add. 3 methods:
- Gmail (OAuth): 1-click connection via your Google account. Recommended for simplicity.
- Outlook / Microsoft 365 (OAuth): 1-click connection via your Microsoft account.
- Standard IMAP: for ISPs (OVH, Gandi, etc.) or business servers. Enter server + port + login + password (encrypted at rest in AES-256-GCM).
The connection only requests read incoming emails and move between folders permissions. No send permission, no read of sent.
Step 2 — Choose action mode
Once the mailbox is connected, you choose the action Fiabli should take on detected phishings. 4 possible modes:
- No action: Fiabli analyzes but doesn't touch anything. You see verdicts in dashboard. Ideal for testing.
- IMAP label: Fiabli adds a label/tag (e.g., "Fiabli/Phishing"). Visible in Gmail filter. Non-intrusive.
- Subject prefix: subject is modified to
[Fiabli ⚠️ 92%] Original subject. Visible directly in list, but email stays in inbox. - Quarantine: email is moved to a
Fiabli Quarantine/folder. Out of your main view.
Step 3 — Set the quarantine threshold
By default, only emails with a risk score >80% are quarantined. You can adjust:
- 70% threshold: more aggressive, catches more cases but more false positives
- 80% threshold: recommended (balance)
- 90% threshold: ultra-conservative, only quarantines obvious phishings
Emails in the 60-80% zone stay in inbox with an alert subject prefix (your choice).
Step 4 — Check the quarantine
The Fiabli Quarantine/ folder automatically appears in your IMAP / Gmail / Outlook folder list. Check it periodically (1× per week is enough) to verify no legitimate email landed there by mistake.
If you find a false positive, click "Mark as legitimate" from the Fiabli dashboard. The email returns to inbox, and the sender is added to your personal whitelist. The Fiabli knowledge base also learns from this feedback (anonymously).
Special case: teams
For TPE and PME plans, you can configure a different mode per mailbox:
- The sales mailbox
contact@: subject prefix (sales team must see all emails) - The support mailbox
support@: quarantine (high volume, phishings frequent) - The leadership mailbox
leadership@: quarantine + SMS alert (sensitive)
Whitelists/blacklists are shared between mailboxes of the same tenant — a corrected false positive benefits the whole team.
